Nicole Schuchart
I am currently a full-time mom of two, part-time yoga instructor, and part-time writer. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart since 1997.
In 1996, I received my first BA in Interior Design from the University of Northern Iowa. After working in that field for a couple years, I decided that I wanted to teach English instead. I completed my English Education degree at Iowa State University in 2001, and taught middle school language arts for two years before my first child was born. I loved teaching, but I love staying home even more.
Writing has always been a passion of mine. I have four drafts of a semi-autobiographical novel finished, but I’m still not sure if I ever want to publish it. I spent nearly two years as a contributor to The Des Moines Register; one year of that time was spent blogging on the Register’s website. I’m also a YogaFit certified yoga instructor.
My other interests include reading, walking, traveling, art, church, and my family.
